This event is for CURRENTLY ENROLLED FAMILIES ONLY. You must be enrolled in our high school program (Ages 13-17) for the 2022-2023 homeschool year in order to participate in this program.

Our high school mentees will be exploring the Metropolitan Museum of Art with chaperones Sarah Issa and Christina Elahmar for a tour through the ages, visiting various exhibitions, including:

• The Ancient World

• The Dark Ages

• The Renaissance

• The Islamic World

Mentees will also be photographing paintings and/or sculptures for their final year-end project for Global Studies. If they cannot attend the trip they will be able to do a virtual trip or select paintings and sculptures to view online. 

All mentees need to bring $10 cash with them on the trip as a donation to The Met. Advanced registration is required. Mentees will be carpooling with our chaperones.

Day: Thursday, April 6

Time: 10AM-3PM

Trip Location: The Met Fifth Avenue, New York

Price: $10/person (take as cash!)

Dropoff Location: Ridgewood, NJ

Dropoff Time: 9:45am so carpool can depart on time at 10am

Pickup Time: 3pm from Ridgewood

Online registration must be submitted to WHC no later than Tuesday, April 4th.

Trip waiver will be sent to registered families.
